Search Tips

The database has 4 types of search - Key Skill Search - Sponsored (Quick) Search - Name Search - Geographical Search

The first three searches are located on the Main Search Page, but the Geographical Search is accessed at the bottom of this page.

Key Skill Search - Located on the main search page - Our consultants have told us the key skills that they can offer from a long list that we have prepared. There are two lists - one covering Consulting Skills and the other Artistic/Performance skills.
You can select from either drop down menu list (Consultants or Artists/Performers/Makers) or you can use can use your own word or phrase if it is not covered by the list in the (Text search).
When you have the list of consultants that match your search you can check their full entry or their web site for a closer match to your needs. Don’t forget our Need a Consultant service at www.arts-consultants.org.uk/need-consultant.asp where we will do the work for you and notify all of our consultants.

Sponsored Search -Located on the right hand menu bar on all pages - These are the more general category searches.

Name Search - Located on the main search page - You can search for a particular consultancy or where the details have been provided an individual within a consultancy. This is text string search - so there has to be a direct match of the text string that you type in the search box

Geographical Search - It should not really be necessary to search for the consultants on our database by where they are based. In fact it is advisable not to. All of the consultants can work anywhere and limiting yourself to those who are located near you can be disadvantageous. However this search allows you to do that by entering a town, city, county , state or country. This is also a text string search - so there has to be a direct match of the text string that you type in the search box

  • Search for consultants in a particular geographical area.
